Creative Burgers to Try at Your Next BBQ

The snow is melting, the birds are chirping, and you can finally pull those tank tops out from the back of your closet. But the greatest thing about the arrival of warmer weather, is that Spring is official barbeque weather around the nation. So, what are you waiting for? Put on your apron, pour yourself a beer, and head down to your community center’s grills because we’re about to serve you up seven must-try burgers, perfect for your next barbecue.

French Fry

Nothing complements a burger quite like some french fries, are we right? So, let’s kill two birds with one stone by tossing them right into the burger itself. Finish it off with melted cheese, and bourbon sauce, this is real (wo)man food right here. It’s not super revolutionary, but it sure is delicious.

The hot sauce of the gods has made its way to this burger recipe. You can find the official recipe in the Sriracha Cookbook, and includes soy sauce, bacon, caramelized sweet onions, arugula, tomatoes, and the heavenly rooster sauce. Is your mouth watering yet?

Krispy Kreme Donut

Who doesn’t love donuts? Swap out a pair of buns for a glazed, melt-in-your-mouth Krispy Kreme and you’re looking at burger of epic proportions – and maybe cholesterol. But this is the real deal right here, and in comparison, all other burgers are just basic. Don’t forget the bacon. Seriously, trust us on this one.

Quinoa & Sweet Potato

Now don’t go running for the hills if you’re a meat-and-potatoes-to-the-core kind of person, this burger is fantastic, and proves that vegetarians know how to burger, too. There’s a lot going on between these two buns but here’s the main players: quinoa, sweet potato fries, beer caramelized onions, eggs, and a whole lot more.

Eggs Benedict

Who says you can’t have a burger for breakfast? Not us. This breakfast concoction calls for beef, a poached egg, bacon, Worcestershire sauce, and a whole lot more – all messily stacked between two slices of delicious English muffins. Pour yourself a mimosa, and call this brunch.

Now here’s a juicy-sweet burger with just enough tropical flavor to really make it pop. You don’t have to go all the way to the islands to feast on some hawaiian-style burgers. Add some grilled pineapple, a little teriyaki sauce, and your normal condiments to your favorite grilled burger, then, add some glaze on the bun and you’re good to go. A hawaiian twist on an American classic. Enjoy.

Black Bean and Avocado

Black beans aren’t just for vegetarians anymore. Satisfy your tastebuds and your waistline with a healthier burger that has a complex and robust flavor. Made with corn and brown rice and spiced up with chili sauce, cumin, garlic and chili powder. Top with avocado, a little salsa and your normal condiments, and you’re in for a treat.
